The Relic of St John Bosco is visiting our school on Sunday, July 17, 2011. It is a very solemn and much awaited event for all the students, alumni and parents of Don Bosco School. It is also a time for us, the beneficiaries of Don Bosco’s educative initiatives, to show our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to him. The following will be the programme for the alumni, parents and guardians of school.
8.30 am Procession with Don Bosco Relic from Christ the King Church to the school. The students of Classes 11 & 12 will have the privilege of accompanying the holy relic from the church to the school. These students are expected to be in school uniform and gather in front of the church at 8.20 am to begin the procession on time.
3.00 pm Public function with dignitaries, alumni and parents. Prayer Service in honour of Don Bosco in the school auditorium.
3.30 pm Floral tribute by Dignitaries, alumni and others followed by visit to the relic.
6.00 pm Conclusion of the programme.
All parents and guardians are cordially invited to Don Bosco School auditorium and pay homage to the father and teacher of the young between 3.00 pm and 6.00 pm.

Please Note: Once a person pays floral tribute to Don Bosco, he/she can move towards the ground floor of the school building and then to the first floor to watch the exhibition. There will also be a short movie on Don Bosco being screened in the school AV room round the clock.
